The Stratford Shakespeare Festival

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival is an annual celebration of theatre running from April to November in the city of Stratford, Ontario. Theatre-goers, actors, and playwrights flock toStratford to take part — many of the greatest American and Canadian actors play roles at Stratford. It was one of the first, and continues to be, one of the most prominent arts festivals in Canada.
